1. DATE & VENUE

Please be advised that the Midlands State University 27^th Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, the 28^th of August 2026, at the Kwekwe Campus.

2. SEATING TIME

Graduands and Guests are required to be seated by 0800 hours.

3. GRADUATION FEE (INCLUDING ACADEMIC REGALIA)

The total graduation fee, which includes the academic regalia, is as follows:

• Undergraduate graduands – USD 130.00
• Masters’ graduands – USD 140.00
• PhD/DBL graduands – USD 265.00

Payment can be deposited into any of the following University bank accounts:

Please ensure that you pay on time for the payment to reflect in the University accounts by the 24^th of August 2026.

For quality assurance purposes, academic regalia is supplied and distributed exclusively by MSU Enterprises. The cost of the regalia is included in the graduation fee.

Please note that the full graduation fee, including the cost of academic regalia, must be paid into one of the University’s bank accounts listed above.

NB: Graduands are required to present themselves in the recommended academic regalia. The University reserves the right to bar graduands who do not have the approved academic regalia from the graduation arena.

4. OUTSTANDING FEES

Please note that only graduands whose fees are paid in full will be allowed to attend the ceremony.

5. COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC REGALIA

Graduands who have fully paid their graduation fees may, upon presentation of proof of payment, collect their graduation regalia from the following locations:

• MSU Harare Campus – No 1 Kwame Nkrumah

• MSU Bulawayo Learning Centre – Fidelity House, Fife Street and 11^th Avenue, 5^th Floor, Office 504
• MSU Nkulumane Learning Centre – Nkulumane Complex, Bulawayo

• MSU Gweru Main Campus

• MSU Industrial Park Gweru

• MSU Zvishavane Campus
• MSU Kwekwe Campus

6. DRESS

Graduands are required to wear formal attire in dark colours beneath their academic regalia.

7. INVITATIONS

Invitation cards will be available for collection at the Faculty offices at the Main Campus from the 25^th of August 2026.

Please note, that graduands are required to produce their MSU student IDs, National IDs as well as proof of payment for graduation and academic regalia on collection of invitation cards. No invitation cards will be issued on graduation day.

8. GUESTS

Only two guests per graduand with valid invitation cards will be allowed into the Graduation Arena.

9. REHEARSALS

Rehearsals will be held on Thursday, 27^th of August 2026 at 1400 hours at Kwekwe Campus. It is mandatory for all graduands to attend the rehearsals to participate in the ceremony.

10. PHOTOGRAPHERS

No other photographers will be allowed to take photographs when graduands are being capped or within the University premises except the Midlands State University photographers and those accredited by the University.

A video livestream for the graduation proceedings will be available on the University’s social media platforms.

11. FOOD

Please note that graduands will receive food vouchers for themselves and their guests.

12. MSU SECURITY CHECKPOINTS

All graduands and their guests will pass through an MSU Security checkpoint where their invitation cards will be verified.

13. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

Please be advised that the Amaveni route will be closed after 0900 hours, and thereafter all guests and graduands will have to use the Silobela/Gokwe route.
