Andrew Wheatley from the University of Cambridge visited the group at the Midland State University. He presented a lecture on Metal Organic Frameworks, nanotechnology and new materials. The visit was part of the Future Leaders African Independent Research program. The aim of the visit was to discuss and review the collaborative research work on enzyme encapsulation in MOFs for carbon dioxide conversion. Further discussions were centered on  developing  funding proposals that will support the ongoing collaboration with Prof Mehlana.
