Welcome to the Faculty of Science and Technology at Midlands State University, where our vision of being the leading faculty nationally and globally drives our academic endeavor. This proud faculty has an average enrollment of 1500 students in several departments namely, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Surveying and Geomatics, Food Science and Nutrition, Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology, Chemical Technology , Applied Statistics and Mathematics, 90 teaching staff and graduates on average 350 students annually. In order to ensure that students can achieve their full academic potential the faculty offers these programmes at both undergraduate and post graduate levels to both local and international students. The faculty strives to be an important centre of research through establishing ties with other institutions of higher learning in Africa and elsewhere in the world
